We all know that the holiday season is around the corner, and it is the perfect time to spread some love, cheer, and happiness. It is the time of the year when we should think about the less fortunate and try to make a difference in their lives. And that is what our church is doing this year. We are putting up a gift tree in the foyer, benefiting Safe Families.

Starting December 3, you can take tags off the tree to purchase needed items for families in Klamath County. It’s a small gesture that can make a huge difference in someone’s life. The items you buy will go directly to families in need, and you’ll be bringing joy and happiness to their lives.

There is no need to wrap the gifts; bring the item(s) to the church and place them under the tree. Safe Families will pick up the items and offer a Christmas Bazaar where parents can shop for gifts for their kids so they can be the ones to give the gifts to their kids and not strangers! This is a better approach to showing compassion to those in need.

This initiative is so special because it allows parents to choose the gifts for their kids. They are the ones who know their children’s likes and dislikes, and this way, they can give their kids the perfect gift that they will cherish for a lifetime.

Let’s make this holiday season memorable for families in need and bring a smile to their faces. Remember, even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life.
