We are thrilled to welcome back the Matsiko World Orphan Choir to First Presbyterian Church of Klamath Falls on Thursday, May 22nd at 6:30 PM. This vibrant and internationally celebrated group of children—hailing from the remote hills of Nepal, the Andes Mountains of Peru, and the towns of Liberia, West Africa—will share their powerful voices and moving stories in a performance that celebrates resilience, faith, and global unity.

This year’s choir is truly special. These children, many of whom come from some of the most marginalized backgrounds, have overcome incredible odds to tour the United States. One singer from Nepal’s “untouchable” caste speaks volumes about the transformative hope that Matsiko provides through education, faith, and the global support of communities like ours.

With performances at places like the Lincoln Center, Disneyland, and even the White House, Matsiko has become known as “The Greatest Ambassadors for the World’s 600 Million Orphaned and At-Risk Children.” But for these children, it’s the intimate, heart-filled performances in churches like ours that leave the most profound impression.

You will also have the opportunity to sponsor a child for just $40 per month. This act provides essential education, care, and hope. While sponsorship is a meaningful way to support Matsiko’s mission, it is not necessary to attend. We welcome you to come, be blessed, and allow your heart to be moved.
