Small Group Studies
One of the ways in which we grow as Christians is through fellowship, discipleship, and Bible study with other Christians. Small groups are the smaller communities where we gather as disciples of Jesus to live out his mission in personal relationships with one another. In these groups, adults “hang out,” challenge and support each other to grow, and develop personal, caring connections with other believers. First Presbyterian Church offers several options for growing our faith through participation in a small adult group.
These groups are currently meeting:
Devens/Stokes Small Group
Meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30. This is a Bible study group. Place of meeting rotates among homes. For information contact Mitch or Tammy Stokes (541) 891-8771, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cox Small Group
Meets Monday eveningss at 6:30. The group meets for fellowship, prayer, and to study scripture. A Bible text is chosen for the study focus. Place of meeting rotates among homes. For information, contact Thelma Cox at (541) 273-9242 or email email@example.com.
Woods Life Group
Meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30. The previous Sunday’s sermon is discussed with particular
attention to applying the principles to our lives. The group maintains a year-long prayer journal
and annually reviews God’s interaction in our lives. Place of meeting rotates among homes. For
