Visitation TeamVisitation Team
People need spiritual support in times of crisis. Besides the primary care of friends reaching out to friends, there are several ministries involving broader outreach to those who are hurting. Visitation Team The Visitation Team visits and prays with people in the hospital, retirement and nursing homes, and their own homes. We have a Senior Luncheon every third Monday of each month. This includes lunch "potluck style", and we always have some entertainment. In recent times, the entertainment has included Sheriff Chris Kaber, Leader of Operation Christmas Child, our own members who went on a Mission trip to Belize, the Klamath Falls Kitchen Band (made of retired Klamath County Educators) and many others. Men's Bible StudyMen's Bible Study
Monday nights at 6:30 we meet downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Sometimes if we have a member of our group at a Care Facility, we will have our study with singing of hymns at the Care Facility. This really is an encouragment and lifting up of our incapacitated members. We are studying Luke and other related Biblical texts, about Jesus' beginning ministry. Music MinistryMusic Ministry
Contemporary services are at 9:00 a.m. and will reflect the truth that we are "to sing unto the Lord a new song!" (Ps. 33:3) The service features contemporary music led by the Praise Team band and singers. The Praise Team Director is Mary Kern.
